Milena Velba In Too Much

Cape Norfeu

Norfeu Cape Town is well known and loved by people attending the Costa Brava between Roses and Cadaques. The rocks are shaped like a cat lying under the head of a big cat or tiger.
If we make a little effort of imagination, one would almost feel like they are talking. What is certain is that they are watching.
For years I wanted to paint these rocks. I did a lot of pictures. But then I could not resist.
must find his rhythm. It is a painting more lively and quick it seems. The brush never stops moving.
Pictures serve me more than anything else catalogs textures. Of course they tell me the forms, proportions and light.
I will work at sea and make a series of rocks for a future exhibition.
formats are big enough to go into detail.
